THE STOREFRONT WINDOW

A department store window features the latest Hoffman fashions by depicting ladies at a train station. Two of the mannequins wear outfits in the styles advertised in the "posters" adorning the walls. (The "posters" were fussy-cut from the "Vintage" challenge fabric.) The seated mannequin is based on an old photo of my mother. The slogan at the top proudly declares the first class quality of Hoffman fabrics. All text was stitched in outline, then painted. The luggage and ticket windows were fussy-cut from the "Antique" challenge fabric.
