SEEING INSPIRATION

Inspiration is all around if you look. Catalogs, fabrics, history can all generate ideas for an artist whether it is for an art quilt or for a quilt to cover up. Playing with fabrics and materials I envisioned what my sewing studio would have looked like if I had been alive to be the first owner of my featherweight. I learned to sew using patterns and over time have challenged myself to play with fabrics, lines, and detail to add my own style to clothes quilts, and gifts for family and friends.
